What an amazing trip!  It was great to meet those of you in person that I did, and I wish I had encountered all of you!  Here are my pictures--there seems to be more of just New Orleans than of the Con, but that is because I was having too much fun around the pyrates to whip my camera out.  Whipped other things out, but no camera. ;)

So we are having our Halloween/Housewarming party this Saturday evening, the 20th, here in Lawrence....hint hint. 

Well, we are heading out tomorrow at the nice fresh hour of 4:30 AM for St. Louis.  If we are driving 4 1/2 hours, we are going to be sure to do some other touristy stuff, so making it a 2 day trip.  We have done this 2 day trip thing to St. Louis before, for faire, but we still have places to visit--and most of them are free! 

Don't know if anyone here is planning on going to PF on Saturday, but if you do, please say hi!  I will be in a green coat, being escorted about by a 6'4" pirate (of course) in red.  Hard to miss. 

First one is with Jack Black and Cary Elwes, it is called Ye Olde Times.  Only a few blurbs about it on the net so far, but it is about rival shows at some Ren Faires.  Comes out in 2008. 

I *just* saw a preview for this one, but it comes out on the 17th!  Good or bad, it has Colin Firth, so I'll love it. :)  http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0462396/
